The workshop was held from 25th June to 2nd July in Čakovec, at ŠAF studio. Workshop leaders were two experienced and awarded animators, Yulia Aronova from Russia and Melanie Vialaneix from France.
As usual, there were around twenty children from Slovenia and different parts of Croatia involved in the workshop project. They, with a help of their leaders, made two short animated movies: “Power Plant”, an ecological cut-out movie, and the cartoon by Y. Aronova and children named “About me”.  The movies were shown in the Cultural Centre in Čakovec on Saturday, 1st of July in front of about 300 visitors. Along with workshop movies, 2 movies made by the workshop leaders and 40 minutes of the newest ŠAF production was also projected.
As the special surprise, on Thursday, there was a small projection of Mrs. Aronova and Vialaneix in the Vinary Lovrec as the part of their cultural offer. Projection was held in front of the 30 animation and ŠAF fans and a few international guests.
Friday, 30th June, was reserved for a traditional excursion through the upper Međimurje region with a special visit to the Horvat ceramics where the kids had the opportunity to see how it is made, and try to make a traditional ceramic.
